“Why do buses need words and numbers on them?”

“I can see some black circles.”

“I can see some white circles.”

“I can’t see some circles. They’s half of circles.”

“Yes, I can see semi-circles too. That’s what we call a half-circle. But I know that the rest of the circle is there; I just can’t see it because of the reflection in the puddle. Shall we see if I’m right?”

“It’s stopped raining.”

The meaning of marks

“Why do you always make those shapes on your bread?”

“That’s a good question. In fact I only found this out few weeks ago. A long time ago, nobody had an oven in their home; everybody in the town shared one oven to bake their bread. But what happens when you don’t write your name on your picture?”

“Nobody knows it’s my picture.”

“Exactly. These marks are how the people in the town knew which loaf of bread they had made.”
